Rachel Lafain (She/Her)
Director
Rachel provided support coordination as a sole trader throughout 2020 and 2021, before founding Contemporary Coordination in 2021. She now leads the exceptional team that you will see in the bios below.

Rachel is a registered social worker with 13 years’ experience working in a wide range of fields including disability, mental health, refugee and multicultural services, LGBTIQA+ services, education, research and community development. She has particular interest areas in complex mental health and supporting regional communities.

In her spare time Rachel enjoys sewing, drinking coffee, being at the beach, live music/theatre and hanging out with her pets.

Rachel spends her working days supporting the team. She welcomes a chat to understand the needs of new participants so she can recommend the most suitable team member to assist.

Ren M (He/Him) 
Ren joined Contemporary Coordination towards the end of 2021 and has a background in disability and training sectors for over 10 years, working for both not-for-profit and government organisations.

Ren has a passion for assisting participants to build their individual capacity to have full choice and control over their daily life, work on their goals through engagement with supports and services and inclusion within their local communities. 

Ren provides support coordination and specialist support coordination services and is fluent in English, and can speak Malayalam, Hindi and Tamil. He has also had the opportunity to live and work in several middle eastern countries. 

In his spare time Ren loves spending time with his young family, gardening and travelling.

Ren does not have availability to work with new participants.

Taieri has blonde shoulder length hair. She has  a black jumper on and is smiling.

Taieri Walsh (she/her)
Taieri joined Contemporary Coordination at the end of 2023 and brings 7 years of experience in the disability sector, and has a particular interest in working in young adults.

She understands that everyone’s vision of quality of life is different, especially when managing a disability, and is passionate about tailoring support to help each person achieve their own goals. For Taieri, creating a sense of trust, safety and comfort is key to helping people feel confident and supported in their time with her, and with other providers. 

In addition to support coordination, Taieri also works as an intake officer, assisting people as they begin their connection with Contemporary Coordination.

Outside of work she enjoys camping, travelling, and experiencing different cultures and cuisines.

Liza C (she/her)
Liza is a seasoned professional with over 17 years experience in the mental health and disability sectors. This includes working as a Specialist Service Coordinator, Life Coach, Peer Specialist and Support Coordinator.

Liza is able to meet the full range of an individual’s needs; empower through capacity building supports, recovery coaching practices, and to assist in supporting people to make informed decisions which lead to increasing confidence and purpose.

Liza is highly experienced in facilitating better coordination of clinical and non-clinical services to deliver a ‘wrap around’ support to meet the full range of an individual’s needs. She also brings her lived experience to the role.

In her spare time Liza loves gardening, spending time with her labradoodle Shiloh, riding her bike and being at the beach.

Liza has availability to accept new support coordination referrals.

Daniel (he/him)
Daniel joined the Contemporary Coordination team in mid-2024. He historically came from a construction background, but decided to follow his passion for helping people and changed careers to pursue a career in social work. He has completed a Cert IV in mental health and is a final year Bachelor of Social Work student. Daniel has been working in the sector for almost 4 years specialising in mental health, in particular men’s health and suicide intervention.

Previous to working with Contemporary Coordination, he worked as a psychosocial recovery coach and support coordinator in the Northern Territory, predominantly working with First Nations participants.

Daniel is passionate about helping participants to utilise their NDIS plan as efficiently as possible so they can achieve their goals and live their best life.

When he is not working, Daniel enjoys spending time with his young family, camping, gardening, reading and renovating. 

Daniel is located in the Yorke Peninsula.
He does not currently have availability to work with new participants.

Clover (she/her)
Clover Huang joined Contemporary Coordination mid 2024 as a support coordinator and psychosocial recovery coach, and she has a background in counselling, neuro-divergent coaching, and NDIS support work. She has also worked as a mental health educator and managed cross-cultural educational projects in China, enhancing her ability to provide culturally sensitive and effective support to clients with diverse backgrounds. 

Clover holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, a Diploma in Counselling, a Diploma in Leadership and Management, and a Diploma in Advanced Translation (English into Chinese). Her rich knowledge in mental health and education, combined with transferable skills in management and community service, enables her to provide comprehensive and person-centered support. She speaks fluent English and Mandarin.

Outside of work, Clover enjoys reading and watching movies indoors as well as bushwalks outdoors.


Clover has availability to accept new referrals for psychosocial recovery coaching in the northern and eastern suburbs of Adelaide.

Holly (she/her)
Holly joined Contemporary Coordination in 2024 and has a background in mental health and counselling. She completed her Masters of Counselling in 2021 and has worked in drug and alcohol counselling and youth mental health counselling. Holly also holds a Bachelors Degree in Communication and spent many years running her own business.

Holly is passionate about respectful, open communication and empowering people to live fulfilling and happy lives. Her counselling background allows her to gather and utilise information in an effective and sensitive manner.
Holly provides support coordination to children, adolescents and adults. She is based in the Adelaide Hills. 

Outside of work, Holly enjoys cooking, Pilates and spending time with her family.

Holly has availability to accept a small number of new participants in the Adelaide Hills.

Sarah

Sarah (she/her)

Sarah has recently joined the Contemporary Coordination team and brings 25 years of experience working in the community sector, including over 6 years of experience as a Support Coordinator. She has a Bachelor of Social Science as well as a Graduate Diploma of Psychology and uses both her practical lived experience and theoretical knowledge to support individuals to be all that they can be in her role as Support Coordinator.

Sarah is passionate about ensuring that NDIS participants understand how their plan works, their rights and how they can use their funds to support the choices they make for their lives.

In her spare time, Sarah enjoys being in nature, traveling, reading, Pilates and spending time with her dog.

Sarah has availability to accept new specialist support coordination referrals for participants in southern Adelaide and surrounds.

Rachael T (she/her)

With 29 years of experience in the Disability Sector, Rachael’s journey started as a Support Worker and has evolved through various roles within government and profit-for-purpose organisations before becoming a Support Coordinator in April 2025. 

As a wife and mother of four, her life has been shaped by the experiences of raising a family, including her youngest child who has a rare genetic condition. This personal experience has provided her with valuable insights into the emotional and practical complexities of living with a disability. This journey has fueled her commitment to ensuring that others do not have to navigate these challenges alone, especially those living in country areas.

Rachael believes in the power of knowledge and the importance of building a supportive network. She is driven to create a space where people feel valued and heard, and where their unique experiences and perspectives are acknowledged. She is excited to contribute to a future where everyone, regardless of their challenges, has the chance to flourish.  

Rachael is located in the Yorke Peninsula and provides the team with administration support.

Dobie (she/her)

Dobie joined Contemporary Coordination in September 2025, bringing with her a strong background in Social Work and a deep commitment to supporting NDIS participants living with psychosocial disabilities and complex needs. With a Bachelor of Applied Sociology (Honours) from Hong Kong and a Master of Social Work from South Australia, Dobie combines academic knowledge with hands-on experience to provide compassionate and effective support.

Her practice is guided by a trauma-informed and biopsychosocial approach, ensuring that every participant feels heard, respected, and empowered in their recovery journey. Dobie is passionate about continually developing her skills in psychotherapies, including Narrative Therapy and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and she strongly believes in recognising each participant’s voice and strengths as the foundation of growth.

Outside of work, Dobie enjoys relaxing with movies, books and her cat, and makes the most of warm weather through hiking and camping. She is also exploring her creative side by learning Chinese calligraphy and developing an interest in ceramic art. 

Dobie has availability to work with new support coordination and psychosocial recovery coaching participants in the northern and eastern suburbs of Adelaide.

Craig (he/him)

Craig joined the team of Contemporary Coordination in November 2025 and is a registered Social Worker with a range of experience in supporting regional youth, remote Aboriginal health and community palliative care. Craig has held various management roles in the not-for-profit and public health sectors. Most recently, Craig worked as a Senior Rehabilitation Clinician with Department for Correctional
Services.

Craig appreciates the importance of quality NDIS service provision and compliance with a focus on participant choice and control, while ensuring the best possible support and value for the participant. Craig offers Support Coordination, Specialist Support Coordination and Psychosocial Recovery Coaching.

In his spare time Craig enjoys walking his dog Echo, house renovations, hiking and dabbling on guitar.

Craig has availability to accept new support coordination, specialist support coordination and psychosocial recovery coaching participants in Adelaide metro and the Limestone Coast.

Karen (she/her)

Karen joined Contemporary Coordination at the end of 2025 and has an extensive background in Disability of 20 plus years. Karen’s past roles in disability have included Case Manager and Senior Project Officer in government. More recently, Karen was a Local Area Coordinator from 2019 to 2023. After moving to the Yorke Peninsula in 2023, Karen worked from home for a time for a Plan Manager providing support to Support Coordinators whose participants utilized the plan management service.

Karen has a good understanding of the NDIA and is keen to support others to increase their knowledge while building their capacity in all areas of their lives. Karen believes strongly in a strength based approach while still supporting people in
areas where it is required with a view to individuals reaching their goals and aspirations and supporting them to live their life their way.

In Karen’s spare time she enjoys taking her bulldog Rosie to the beach and working on renovating her home.

Karen is available to accept new participants for support coordination in the Yorke Peninsula, including face to face services in the Southern Yorke Peninsula.

Victoria (she/her)

Victoria has over 15 years’ experience working in the disability sector and holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology. Her career spans both hands-on, face-to-face support and senior leadership roles within large not-for-profit organisations across South Australia and New South Wales. Victoria has extensive experience leading teams delivering 24/7 supports to people with complex and high-risk needs, including SIL and SDA, and has worked within multidisciplinary clinical teams, including Behaviour Support services.

Victoria is trained in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention through Cornell University (New York) and is a former facilitator of this practice. She works from a person-centred and trauma-informed approach and brings a strong understanding of crisis support, complex behaviour support needs, and the NDIS service system. Her calm, practical approach supports participants to feel informed, supported, and confident in navigating their supports. She values clear, practical, and transparent service delivery.

Originally from the UK, Victoria has a genuine interest in health and wellbeing and enjoys spending time outdoors. 

Victoria is available to accept new participants for support coordination and specialist support coordination services.

Stephanie (she/her)

Stephanie is a compassionate and values-driven Support Coordinator with over 15 years’ experience in the disability and community services sector. Her career started as a Support Worker and then moved into Management and Project roles in SIL and Day Options working with both children and adults with disability.

She is in the final semester of her Bachelor of Social Work, where she has built on her passion for understanding people within the context of their environment, culture, and life experiences. She is excited to finish her studies and offer specialist support coordination services through Contemporary Coordination from mid 2026. Taking a strengths-based approach, Stephanie supports individuals to achieve their goals and
deepen connections to their communities. She enjoys working collaboratively with support teams to ensure safe, inclusive, and empowering services for both children and adults.

Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending time outdoors with friends and her young family. She is passionate about social justice, staying informed about global issues, and learning from Indigenous ways of knowing both in Australia and around the world.

Stephanie is available to accept new support coordination and psychosocial recovery coaching services.

Looking for remote services? 
Our team can provide services remotely through video, phone, SMS and emails. We only work with participants in South Australia and we currently provide remote services with occasional home visits to the Riverland, Mid North, Clare Valley and Fleurieu Peninsula. We offer regular face to face services in Adelaide, Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley and Yorke Peninsula.
